RK Mission Aalo senior Alumni association meet held, discussed to enhance the educational scenario.

ITANAGAR, MAY 24 : The RamaKrishna Mission School (RKMS) Aalo in West Siang district today held its super senior members alumni association meeting at the conference hall of OPD Block of RK Mission Hospital here on Tuesday.

Several senior members of the RK Mission School Aalo from 1966-74 today under the banner of RKM senior alumni association discussed various issues related to the promotion and progress of the education system and education scenario of school, district and state as a whole. 

On the occasion Swami Sukhatmananda Maharaj, Swami Vanishwarananda/Sangket Maharaj were felicitated by the organization and their contributions were remembered during the early seventies. Their advice was also recollected and lauded in the field of providing education and other human resource activities at the school.

Co-ordinator, RKMSA Dr. Emi Rumi inform it was a happy moment that several members of the school days of 1966-74 has decided to work together for promotion of education scenario of our previous school and also to give back to our school were we get our education and due to which we are in good position in the society and we are equally part of the society and state development being social worker, technocrat, technocrat and other position. Most of the members have retired from their active service in their respective fields. He said.

We are the first batch of RKM school, Aalo and we wanted to give back something to our school and it is the high time that we get together and now we are expecting the batch upto 1980 may also join to our mission and soon we are taking up some of the important work in the school. It would be a humble beginning but we have to start with a humble beginning so that others also follow in due course of time. Dr. Rumi said.

We have created ‘ Swami kritidananda endowment plan’ by the members  and we will start with ‘ Swami Kirtidananda academic excellence award’ to be given to the best student of Class XII in arts, humanities and commerce stream from this year which would be a motivation to other students. We are also managing a corpus fund for the purpose of Rs. 10 Lakhs soon. He added.

Major General (Retd) Jarken Gamlin, Marnya Ete, Dr. Tejum Padu, Kenjum Ete and others also shared their views and advice and suggestions on the occasion.
