Pasighat, July 15: The much-anticipated Pasighat Veteran Futsal Super Cup commenced today at the KM Futsal Ground in Ranaghat. Organized by Destination Ledum in collaboration with The Commix, this tournament marks a significant milestone for futsal enthusiasts in the region.
On the opening day, four thrilling matches unfolded, showcasing the skill and passion of the participating teams. In a tightly contested battle, Amigos Assam emerged victorious over Siiying Veteran with a score of 2-1. Siang United displayed their prowess, securing a 1-0 win against Pasighat Veteran Football Club (PVFC). Abor Cronies United (ACU) triumphed over Pasighat Apatani Welfare Society (PAWS) with a score of 2-1. The day concluded with a nail-biting encounter between Pada Brothers Football Club (PBFC) and Serene Life Foundation Club (SLFC), with PBFC securing a thrilling 4-3 victory.
The excitement continues to build as the semi-finals and finals approach. The semi-final matches are scheduled for tomorrow, 15th July 2023. The first semi-final will witness a fierce battle between Abor Cronies United (ACU) and Amigos Assam, while the second semi-final will feature Pada Brothers Football Club (PBFC) going head-to-head with Siang United. The winners of these matches will advance to the grand finale, set to take place on 16th July 2023.
