Papum Pare Police arrest absconded manager from Shillong

Doimukh, March 30: Papum Pare Police arrest one absconded manager with the help of Meghalaya Police from Shillong on Tuesday. 

According to a press release of Papum Pare(R) police, on 24/03/2022, a complaint was received from one Tana Tamar Tara, a resident of  Midpu-II, Doimukh that one Paul Debbarma, a resident of Agartala who was employed as manager in his Swimming pool at Midpu has fled away with Rs. 6,80,000/-. On receipt of it, DMK/PS/CASE NO. 16/2022 U/S 406 IPC was registered and the case was endorsed to SI Balkar Singh. 

Bomken Basar, SDPO Doimukh under the close supervision of Dr. Neelam Nega, SP Papumpare formed a team comprising of SI Balkar Singh, HCt T.D Goiba, Ct. M.Thapa and Ct. H Dutta. The team raided various locations at Shillong and finally arrested the accused person with the help of Meghalaya Police from Shillong on 29/03/2022. The police were informed on release. 

 He has been questioned during which he has admitted his guilt. He was produced before the court Yupia and now he is in 2 days police custody. The release says. 

Meanwhile, SP Papumpare appeals to the local entrepreneurs and business community to get the character antecedent checked before keeping any employees and to personally supervise the commercial activity from time to time.
