ITANAGAR, Nov 22: The Pan-Arunachal Joint Steering Committee (PAJSC) on Wednesday while addressing the media has appealed to the state government for a round table discussion on APPSC paper leakage scam within a week, keeping aside Null & Void”.
The resolution to keep aside the demand for null & void was taken as there were different public opinion and voice that hampering the state government in addressing the 13 points charter of demand of committee over the year, said PAJSC vice chairman Tadak Nako.
While giving a call upon the stake holder, anti -null and void committee, All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) and other organisations to come forward for the collective efforts and fight against the cash for job scam, PAJSC on the other hand appealed state government to take a suo motto cognizance on the issue of Null & Void. The APPSC paper leakage issue is very serious and everyone should their seriousness on the issue as it is directly and indirectly affecting the future of thousand of unemployed and educated youths of state. He said.
“Now the committee has kept the legal door open for issues pertaining to null & void, thus we request aggrieved candidates and likeminded people to come forward for legal battle,” Said Nalo. Adding it is high time for everyone in cooperative societies to unite and fight against corruption for larger interests of future generations. The issued is being delayed and no clear-cut solution has been reached till date. He said
It has been 15 months since the issue was brought to limelight by whistle blower late Gyamar Padang but till date the state government could not fulfill the charter of demand till date, now it is time for the state government to materialise their assurance into practical, said chairman of committee Techi Puru.
Condemning the granting of bail to prime accused Taket Jerang by the court, the PAJSC blamed investigation agency of incompetent to make strong charge sheet in the court.
Lamenting the demand for establishment Whistleblower Act is yet to be addressed in toto by the state government, PAJSC further demand for revocation of forced retirement awarded to Taket Jerang and to terminate him by invoking Article 371 (H) including all the brokers (who government officials) involved in the corruption, to compensate all the persons injured during public democratic movement by revoking all the charges including suspension order of Techi Puru, release immediate ex-gratia to the family members of late Gyamar and approval for construction of statue of honesty etc,
