One died, 4 serious injured in a road accident in West Kameng district

ITANAGAR, MAY 9: Two major road accidents have been reported from West Kameng district of state in which one person has lost life as of now while four people have been evacuated in critical condition and sent to Tezpur for medical treatment. Informed Bomdila SP Bharat Reddy.

SP said that the first accident which took place in Dirang circle on Sunday afternoon in which one Bolero bearing registration No- AR 04 5275 met with a deadly accident in Baishaki area at Sange Village. The bolero vehicle was coming from the Tawang side and met with a fatal accident. As per information one person was in the ill fated vehicle who was identified as Leki Khandu, GB of Lish village who reportedly died on spot. After conducting formalities the body was handed to the family members and the last rite has been conducted today. Said SP Reddy.

The second accident which took place in Khupi area of the district on Monday afternoon in which a Scorpio bearing registration No- AR 01 F 5596 lost control and met with an accident. As per information the vehicle was coming from Seppa side and four people were on board.  All the four people received grievous injuries. He said.

All the four occupants had been evacuated and went to Tezpur in critical condition for further treatment. SP added.
