NH-713 between Sangram-Koloriang in Kurung Kumey blocked, restoration may take time

ITANAGAR, Apr 7 : Reportedly a portion of NH-713 between Sangram-Koloriang in Kumey district has been blockage since Thursday afternoon and several vehicles including heavy vehicle has been stranded.  As per information restoration may takes several days for free flow of traffic movement.

The Koloriang SP BOmken Basar when contacted inform that ‘ a heavy landslide has occurred on NH-713 between Sangram and Koloriang near Leel village on Thursday afternoon’. Around 60-70 metre of road has been completely washed away, restoration has however been in progress but may take more than 2-3 days to clear the road.

Commuters who may wished to go to Koloriang may take the Nyobia-Pai Hugu and Yumlam road to reach Koloriang. The SP said.

Meanwhile , Kurung Kumey Deputy commissioner Neeghe Bengia information  an advisory has been issued for commuters to remain alert while travelling on the said route as the construction work is progress.  

DC informs that a direction has been issued to the contractor of Package-VII for immediate restoration work so that commuters does not face lots of difficulty during rainy days.

He appeal the commuters to bear with the inconvenience due to road blockage until the restoration work is completed. DC Bengia added.
