DOIMUKH, APRIL 25: The 12th Bn of NDRF based at Itanagar has rescued 5 stranded person from Dikrong river nearby Saturday market on Saturday. Informed an official.
At around 2130 hrs 05 persons were stranded in the middle of Dikrong river near Saturday Market, Doimukh at between NIrjuli and Doimukh township in Doimukh circle.
On receipt of a phone call Police Station Doimukh police officer SI N Rama, a team consisting 24 personnel u/c of Insp/GD Patras Guriya left from Bn. HQ Doimukh reached the incident site and responded quickly and used professional acumen. The NDRF said.
The team safely rescued all 05 stranded person at 2216 hrs alive and safely and handed over to the Doimukh police. The NDRD official said.
