In celebration of the National Cadet Corps’ (NCC) 75th anniversary, the NCC Directorate North Eastern Region proudly launches the North Eastern Region Car Rally, spanning from November 6th to November 26th, 2023. Engaging 277 schools, 151 colleges, and 44 districts across 6 states, the rally aims to instill camaraderie, leadership, and patriotism in the region’s dynamic youth.
The rally recently reached Ziro on November 15th, 2023, with a symbolic flagging-in ceremony attended by the esteemed District Commissioner. The cadets showcased environmental stewardship with a cleanup drive at SeeH Lake on November 16th, embodying the NCC’s commitment to preserving natural beauty.
Immersing themselves in Ziro’s rich Apatani tribal heritage, the cadets experienced the cultural diversity that reinforces the rally’s broader message. The journey continues with a visit to Itanagar on November 17th, 2023, promising to foster unity and celebration across the region.
