DOIMUKH, MAY 22: The Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Nabam Rebia alongwith Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu has visited the Prayer centre located at Harahapa and interacted with the management committee of their grievances.

Rebia informed the press that the prayer centre is located at a beautiful place with several infrastructure. The centre is being used for helping the needy and helpless people and also providing medication and giving rehabilitation to many people. I have visited the centre quite some time and on an earlier occasion  I have granted a sum of Rs. Fifty lakhs for construction of a huge prayer hall and now it is under the upgrade stage. This centre needs to be upgraded and it would only be possible if the department of social justice & Empowerment and state government though other means provide some support so that the authority concerned of the centre can motivate themselves to work with renewed zeal in serving humanity in a more proper way.  There is a problem of compound wall around the Christina prayer centre and compound wall around the pare hydel project and some other miscellaneous problem and requested the DC to liaise with NEEPCO for wall and he will take up the issue with SJETA Minister Alo LIbang and chief Minister for providing support for strengthening of infrastructure development. Rebia added.
