Minister Wangki Lowang inaugurates Gyan-Shala: A beacon of learning at Govt upper primary school NTC Deomali

Nipjyoti Kalita || Deomali, August 14: The Government Upper Primary School NTC Deomali was graced with a momentous occasion as the Minister for PHE/WSD, DOTCL & IT, Wangki Lowang, inaugurated a state-of-the-art library room named “Gyan-Shala.” 

The inauguration ceremony was held in the esteemed presence of the ADC Deomali, Vishakha Yadav IAS. This innovative library room stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts of the Deomali administration and the BEO Deomali, showcasing their commitment to education.

During the inauguration of Gyan-Shala, Minister Wangki Lowang expressed his delight at the collaborative effort that led to the creation of this innovative library room. He emphasized the importance of education as a foundation for progress and encouraged the students to make the most of this resource to expand their horizons and shape a brighter future for themselves and their community.

The ceremony witnessed the participation of distinguished individuals, including EEs Gangtong Bangyang (Power), SK Srivastava (WRD), who generously contributed books to enrich the library’s collection. AE PHED, AE RWD, AE PWD, the Principal of WRG College, ZPM Deomali Wangphoon Lowang, dedicated teaching staff from NTC school, and prominent public leaders also attended the event, reaffirming their support for the advancement of education in the region.

The newly inaugurated Gyan-Shala (Library Room) at Government Upper Primary School NTC Deomali is poised to become a hub of knowledge, fostering a love for reading and providing valuable educational resources for the students and the community at large.
