Mama Natung has appealed to the agitating staff of Pakke Tiger reserves to call off strike

Natung was talking to the media on Thursday informing that I have spoken to the agitating staff not to go on strike but even then they are on strike is a matter of concern. Earlier the disbursement of salary was paid quarterly and in some cases it was paid after two month. The scheme in which the employees are being paid is a centrally sponsored scheme  under national conservation of tiger authority of India  (NCTA). Since 2020 due to Covid pandemic it has been delayed, he agreed, but we are also finalizing a policy by which they do not have to suffer a lot. He said.

The salary of the staff will be released soon and the state government is initiating for a revolving fund through which the salary will be disbursed without delay and the fund which will be receiving form the NCTA may be adjusted. Natung added.
