PITAPOL, MAY 28: The Minister for PHED, DoTCL and Information Technology Wangki Lowang on Saturday laid foundation stone for several developmental scheme and projects at Pitapool in Yachuli assembly constituency of Lower Subansiri district in in presence of local MLA and Education & Cultural Affairs Minister Taba Tedir and host of dignitaries and general public.
Addressing the huge gathering, Minister Lowang addressing the gathering said that the Yachuli assembly constituency of state is in first position in various subject and in matter to the development it would also be possible if all the stakeholders including the PRI leaders, general public and others join hands and work together for rapid development in all sector including the infrastructure and education sector. He said.
Today was a developmental programme but the public has enjoyed the day like a festival and it is a happy moment for all of us. He said.
There was public demand and submission of a 14 point memorandum. He said.
I have announced for creation of a PHED division and a sub-division and given a commitment for providing water supply to the newly constructed KV school amounting to Rs. 50 lakh in the constituency. He said.
It is a matter of great concern and today time has come to save the catchment area of the source of water or else a time will come several sources of water may be dried up and urged upon the one and all for protection and preservation of the catchment area. A policy for protection and preservation of the catchment area is in progress and the policy was sent to the forest department and recently it has arrived to us, soon we will study and a notification will be issued after placing it to the state cabinet. The PHED Minister said.
Every development can be possible if there is mass participation and appeals to all sections of society to support and cooperate with the government irrespective of party affiliation. He added.
The Yachuli MLA and Minister Education and cultural Affairs Taba Tedir in his address said that the precious two years have been passed only due to the Covid 19 pandemic but whatever plan and public grievances which I have witnessed in these years are being taken care of in phase manner.
Today several project and schemes for the area of its foundation stone has been laid by the PHED Minister which include several CC pavement roads, road from Pitapool to Kyunglo with an estimated cost of 34 crore under CRF, adventure tourism project at Yazali amounting to Rs. 1 crore and a tribal culture with an estimated cost of 1.8 crore, trekking route from Chod village KIIR Senyi, and others project community hall general ground with rostrum at Billo, extension and improvement of water supply to various villages, rostrum at Potin general ground, and all toal 13 project for the development of area and people welfare and oriented scheme. He said.
Special guest lower Subansiri ZPC Likha Sangchhore said the assurance and commitment toward the public has to be fulfilled timely or in phase manner. She assured continuous support to the local MLA and education minister Taba Tedir.
Pitap0ol ZPM Nabam Piju lauded the initiative for development of area and various schemes in Pitapool circle of the district, we should not see ruling and opposition in the matter of development process and everyone needs to become partner of development. She said,

A memorandum submitted on the occasion included the provision of 150 laks for stop gap funding, providing of water supply to newly constructed KV school, maintenance of road from Job-Silsano. Construction of office building for yazali PWD division amounting to Rs, 250 lakhs, PHC at new Pitapool, construction of HPD sub-division with an estimated cost of 100 lakhs, inter village road from Pitapol measuring 3.5 km, construction of multipurpose community hall at Possa with fund of Rs. 200 lakhs, construction of road from NH to Emchi and Rub via Ranganadi dam of 3 km with funding position of 300 lakhs, co road of 2.5 km to Depo, sher, kamchotaram, multipurpose community hall at Chulyu, road to Belo panchayat of 2. Km, CC pavement in Belo village, extension of augmentation of water supply to 14 villages, creation of PHE & WS sub-division at Yazali.
Tedir announced to provide sapling for Rs, 5 Lakhs for planting sapling from Potin to Paigate from MLADF for promotion of environmental and tourist attraction to each ZPMs of the assembly constituency on both side of Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) to promote environment and greenery.
