Kaso inspected several under construction bridge, hoping quality work would come up forthe convenience of the general masses

NAHARLAGUN, DEC 23 : The Itanagar local MLA Techi Kaso early morning alongwith several officers and officials of PWD and others carried out inspection to several under construction bridges in Naharlagun township and adjoining areas.

The team led by Kaso and PWD Naharlagun division Executive Engineer Tana NIkam Tara and others inspected both the upcoming RCC bridge at G Extension and Dam site area and also inspected the site of a few suspension bridges and hanging bridge in Lower Polo colony, Pachin colony.

The team also discussed with the local inhabitants and listened to their grievances and assured them of quality works. He urged upon the local residents residing nearby the upcoming bridge not to create any hindrances rather extend  support and cooperation so that development reached to the area smoothly and rapidly with the smooth connectivity and smooth traffic movement. Said Kaso.

Speaking to media, MLA Kaso said that it was a fine day and several officers and officials of various line department has carried out inspection to several under construction and upcoming bridge in Naharlagun township and know about the ground update and physical verification has updated us and we also interacted the locals and discussed several issued of the area. He said.

The bridge over Pachin connecting Railway station with Lekhi is also in fast track and hope that the contractor hands over the bridge for public movement by May/June and it would be much helpful to the passenger going and coming to and from the railway station. The Arch bridge over river Pachin near helipad and Borum is also in fast track and finishing works on both abutments are being done and hope that the said bridge is also handed over and dedicated to the public movement in January. He said.

Another bridge near Pachin is completed and is being used by the pubic while bridge which was an important demand of the people of police colony is also considered and there would be a bridge soon, another bridge at Senki park which would connect the senki park with Ganga village area will also lead to the connectivity the thousands of people.  He said.

By the year 2023 more than six bridges would be completed and would help and facilitate thousands of people of the capital complex and reduce the time on their journey. Kaso said.

I have been doing my duty and shouldering my responsibility being an elected leader but I could not fulfill everyone needs, as such I have been able to do whatever is necessary for the general public even if they are not the voter of capital but the capital is for everyone so everyone have to discharge their duty and responsibility sincerely so that  our Itanagar capital city remain a beautiful city to live in with peace, tranquility, communal harmony, brotherhood, progress and development. Added.

He further said that due to deforestation and expansion of capital city and development of infrastructure, the catchment area of water are vanishing slowly and is becoming a serious issue and I will take up the matter in the next assembly session and will bring the attention of environment & Forest department, PHED department and others for making policy for it.
