Itanagar, March 2: Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari Joint Secretary, MoHFW, Government of India visited the Health Facilities of Capital and Papumpare on 1st and 2nd March respectively to take stock of the ground situation of the Health facilities and to access their functioning as per the nine (9) key performance indicators(KPI) of Niti Aayog.
He was accompanied by Minga sherpa DC Papumpare, Talo Potom DC Capital Itanagar, C.R Khampa Mission Director (NHM), Dr.K Perme DMO Yupia, Dr.D.Padung SNO (NHM). Dr. T.Mize, DRCHO ( DMO i/c), Dr.Runi Tasung, MCH, Dy.Director and Dr.Dipu Lowang,
The team visited Poma Primary Health Centre , Chimpu Primary Health Centre and RKM Hospital, Itanagar yesterday. Today, the team visited TRIHMS, Naharlagun, Doimukh CHC and Gumto, Health and Wellness Centre.
During the visit, the Joint Secretary took stock of the functioning of the Health centres. He said that even though health services are being delivered in the facilities , datas is not properly entered and uploaded into the portal. Hence, he asked for necessary corrective measures to be carried out within 10 to 15 days.
