ITANAGAR, Jan 3: Mayor Tamme Phassang and Corporators of the Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC) engaged in a productive dialogue today with Chief Secretary Dharmendra Itanagar, marking a significant move towards urban development and community welfare.
The discussion revolved around key initiatives, including Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) Phases 1 & 2, the establishment of a modern slaughterhouse, Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), development of burial grounds, and refining building bylaws, as outlined by Mayor Tamme Phassang.
Mayor Phassang expressed gratitude for Chief Secretary Itanagar’s proactive involvement and highlighted the crucial role of these projects in ensuring a cleaner, more sustainable, and livable urban environment for Itanagar residents.
