ITANAGAR, 16 May: The IMC Commissioner C Chukhu has appealed to people to log into the IMC website or contact nodal officers in case people want their area or building to be sanitized. Talking to the media here on Sunday he said IMC has been given the task of sanitization by the capital district administration.
“We started by sanitizing the micro containment zone on priority. Since then we have sanitized public places like banks, religious institutions etc,” he said. Further the commissioner expressed serious concern over people throwing garbage on roads whether it is highway, sector or colonies.
“People should not throw garbage on the street. Please hand it over to the IMC Garbage vehicle. Sad to see some people throwing garbage in the street. Even if sometimes vehicles come late for a day, people don’t throw garbage on the road,” he said.
