Fully decomposed body recovered from accident site near Potin, case registered

ITANAGAR, FEB 28: A fully decomposed body of a male has been retrieved from an accident site with a Bolero vehicle and after conducting proper investigation and legal formalities the body was later handed over to the relatives for conducting last rites. Informed Lower Subansiri district police sources.

Yazali Police station officer, Licha Tach informed that on 28/02/22 around 900 Hrs information received from some unknown person from Potin area that one unidentified body found at Deep Gorge around 500m from main road (TAH) Potin some 9km distance  from Yazali.

Accordingly Yazali police team visited the place of occurrence and found a decomposed body identified as Lt. Rahidul Islam 19yrs (approx) , s/o Sh Abdul Matin of village Gotunga, Po/Ps Samaguri district Nowgaon (Assam) and also One Bolero car No. AS 07S 5915 belongs to Nur Haque of Laluk, Assam found at the spot in totally damaged condition.

On enquiring it was revealed that the said deceased person has stolen the said vehicle from Dui village under Palin circle, Kra Daadi district (Arunachal Pradesh) and a case has been registered at Palin Ps vide case no. 08/22 U/S – 379 IPC. Said the police officer.

Further a case has been registered at Yazali vide YZLI PS- UD case no. 02/22  U/S – 174 CrPc, Inquest done on the spot, Post mortem mortem done and also body taking above. Handed over his relatives for last rites. The Yazali PS added.
