ITANAGAR, OCT 16 : Four cylinder blast early morning of Monday has rock the people of Chimpu area reportedly triggered by short-circuit in the residential campus of Nabam Seli at RWD Colony of Chimpu. The Itanagar Police sources said.
The Chimpu police station OC Inspector N Nishant inform that it was a devastating fire early morning most probably at around 4.45 to 5.30 AM and the mishap took place at residential campus of Nabam Seli, an employee of education department and all the household belonging and other property kept at the house has been completely gutted. He said.
As per information the house owner and his family were out of station and therefore nothing could be saved. The OC Chimpu PS Inspector Nishant added.
The Itanagar fire station sources inform that after received of fire call at around 6.05 AM the fire fighters and with fire tender rushed to the spot and found that the house was completely guttered in the devastating fire mishap. As per information the fire originated from Semi RCC building and soon the whole campus turned into ashes. The cause of fire is unknown because of non availability of the house owner. The fires station sources said.
Two tank of water was used to spray to controll the spread of fire into the locality. The fire station sources added.
It is to mention that all the property of the three OBT, SPT and MIBT were completely gutted while few vehicle were kept in the campus were partially damaged while saving from the massive fire. No loss of life and injury has been reported in the inscident.
