FIR and WP filled against APPSC by individual for allege leakage of question paper

ITANAGAR, Sep 09 : The Arunachal Public Service Commission (APPSC) will be fully to comply with the investigation agency on alleged mal-practice and anomalies charged by one of the aspirant candidates of Assistant Engineer (Civil) examination held on 26-27 August last.

Talking to this daily, Secretary APPSC, Dr. Jayanta Kumar Ray, said that the commission had on 30 August last filed an FIR at Itanagar police station to investigate the allegation made by the candidate.

If there is iota of truth and the allegation is proven to be right then police will take its course of action as per law, he added.

Stating that the Commission had submitted all the required documents to the Police, Ray said, the commission is waiting for the conclusive evidence and outcome of the investigation.

Informing, out of 450 candidates who appeared for the posts of 33 AE (civil)

As per a complain made available to this daily, one Gyamar Padang on 9 September filed an FIR against APPSC for leakage of examination question paper in Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), as well as filed an writ petition in Guwahati High Court, Itanagar Permanent Bench, Naharlagun, secretary said that if necessary commission will be filing counter affidavit.

In the meantime, when contacted, Capital’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Jimmy Chiram informed that the case is under investigation.

However, the case has been recommended to the Police Headquarter (PHQ) seeking approval for further investigation to be carried out by higher authority, he added.
