ITANAGAR, Feb 05: Centurian HGB Teli Nigla, one of the prominent persons of the Papum Poma area of Papum Pare district of Arunachal Pradesh, passed away early this morning at the age of 131.
He died at 131 years of age in village Jote under Sangdupota circle to the natural call of old age death. He was HGB of Jote under Sangdupota circle.
He was born on 18 September 1892 to Lt. Teli Muj, a noted social figure.
He was the father of former minister Lt. TC Teli.
Nigla had 7 sons and daughters.
His sons are Lt Teli Tarah, Teli Set (HGB), Teli Tassar (HGB), Lt Teli Haad, Lt T. C Teli, former MLA & Minister, Teli Teki and Teli Teni.
Nigla is survived by many grandsons and granddaughters.His funeral service will be held on Monday at his residence in Jote, his grandson Teli Tada Camdir informed.
