DTFI meeting on Routine Immunization and Covid 19 vaccination held

Yupia June 16: The District Task Force for Immunization Papum Pare today conducted a meeting on Routine Immunization and Covid 19 vaccination in the district at DC’s conference hall Yupia today.  

       The meeting was chaired by Sachin Rana IAS Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare. DC Sachin appreciated the effort of the health department in providing better health care facilities to the people in far flung areas of the district  and told the members that success of any programme depends on team work and sincerity and  to make use of development partners like Karuna Trust. 

Emphasising on meticulous planning to achieve the target, he requested all MO i/cs to relook into the micro plan of routine immunization and submit within three four days. 

      Pointing out needs for creating more IEC activities to create mass awareness  on vaccination he instructed the DMO and DIPRO to work out a plan to improve acceptance rate of Covid-19 vaccination in the district. 

      Earlier Dr.K.Perme DMO highlighted the focus area of health Indicators. Dr.S. Victoria SMO WHO also spoke on the occasion.

     Dr.Neyang Nitik  DRCHO made a PPT on the status of Routine Immunization (RI) and Har Ghar Dastak and Har School Das tak. 

      The meeting of the District Malaria Elimination Task Force Committee was also conducted simultaneously. Dr.Tana Aruna Likha DVBDCO presented the status of malaria elimination programme.  Representatives from WCD, Yupia,  MO i/cs and medical staff attended the meeting.
