ITANAGAR, DEC 22 : The Director general of Police (DGP) Satish Golcha on Thursday had felicitated the meritorious sportsperson from police Ct. Bialok Ragit who bring laurel for state and country in kickboxing Asian championship.
The DGP lauded the excellent performance of Ct. Ragit and achievement during recently concluded Asian Senior Kickboxing championship held at Bangkok wherein he clinched Silver medal for country. Athlete along with Coach Bulang Marik who is AGS in Sports control Board of APP for his motivation and training to the athletics. DGP said.
Speaking to media, the DGP said that it is a happy moment for APP and state that our boy are doing well in all discipline of games and sports. It is good that the performances are also far better in compare to earlier. While congratulating the Rajit DGP assured whatever is possible form PHQ will be supported to him for his further raining and participation. Said DGP Golcha.
He also extended best wished to the Police sports control board Vice president incharge CK Mein, secretary Dinesh Kumar Gupta and AGS Bulang Marik for their active support and requested them to provide special award to the police person as a motivation to thousands of police person working in state. He also appeal all irrespective of civil and police to play any types of games and sport to maintain physical fitness and keep body fit and fine with a healthy body and sound mind and remain long life. He further assure to provide all kind of facilities to the excellent sports person of APP sports control board.
The IGP (Ops) CK Main and IGP (LO) Chukhu Apa also congratulations the athletes at PHQ and appreciated the practice and hard labour and wish him to win at other international and world level.
Earlier on Tuesday hundreds of people from various walk of life has felicitated and given warm reception to all the medal winners which include Rajit Bialok for winning silver medal, Rajiv Ali for winning bronze and Tana Tagi Tara for winning bronze medals at Donyi polo airport, Hollongi several officers and public leaders were also present on the occasion at airport.
