ITANAGAR, MAY 27 : Capital complex Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom today visited the cremation and burial ground at Chimpu between Itanagar-Hollongi NH-415 and interacted with EAC and other local officer of Capital DC office and IMC Corporater Lokam Anand for strengthening the amenities.
Terming the cremation and burial ground as the last destination after death, Potom said that the cremation cum burial ground here at Chimpu is an important place as several covid death are being cremated or buried as per protocol during the last lockdown and the second wave too. There are some issues which need to be taken care of and today I visited the place and found that the team of ANSU leaders are doing some social works including bamboo fencing.
I have received twice here and there are issues of water supply and find that wells are also there which need to be strengthened while the solar lighting system is there and will see that I could do something from the administration side or government. Potom said.
Potom further assured to take up any issue related with the cremation and burial ground.
The team of ANSU led by Its president Nabam Dodum among others were present on the occasion.
