ITANAGAR, JULY 22 : The Itanagar capital complex Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom on Saturday while addressing the meritorious students and achievers felicitation programme organised by Yumlam academic & career foundation (YACF) has appeal to work hard and become a role model of community, society and state as well.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasis that the population of state is increasing and at the same time the needs of people are also increasing and for which we should not stand alone in queue but to lead the society to a new height by our knowledge, education, hard labour, sincerity, dedication and devotion. Our sincerity and dedication will lead us to a new height and by which our state will also developed side by side and at the same time our family, community and society well prosper and lead a happy life. We have lots of expectation on our offspring who are our future and to secure our future we have to guide out childrens in all their needs specially in education and health matters. If our children do obey to their elders including the teachers and parents they may also know the root and become a fine gentleman and serve the society in most beautiful way for peace, prosperity and happiness. Raising concern on the rise of drug addiction, DC said that youths and students need to remain away from bad habits, Drug and concentrate in studies and compete in various competitive exams and become a good officers and even if he/she is not selected to government jobs there are many opportunity to earn and serve the society, state and country in different ways. DC further lauded the YACF and community members of Yumlam clan to organise such porgrame every year to motivate the students and youths in most beautiful way so that they become a good human being and also reached to a new height in all sector of society.
Papum Pare SP Taru Gussar attended the function as guest of honour who motivated the youths, students and achievers in various field to work hard for a better society. He emphasis the community leaders to join hands together in fight against the drug menace and make our respective place a beautiful, peace and prosperity with communal harmony and tranquility.
YACF Chairman Yumlam Achung, General secretary Yumlam Majum, cultural secretary Yumlam Kenia, Yumlam Yajum Lombi and Yumlam Kale also address the gathering.
The meritorious students of Class X & XII (Science & Arts), graduates, post graduates, Diploma holders and B Tech etc. All total 70 person were felicitated and trophy and certificates were given away by the dignitaries on the occasion.
