NAHARLAGUN, SEPT 7 : The Itanagar Capital complex Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom is unhappy the pace of work progress of four lane road being undertaken by the executing agency on NH-415 from Papunallah onward even if the target percentage has been achieved in time.
DC on Thursday afternoon has inspected the road condition at Jully Tinali near Papuhill Police station and also interacted the commuters, local residents and the passerby of the problem being face due to bad road and pathetic condition of the road and also about the work progress of the under construction four lane road.
Speaking to media, DC Potom said that lots of people has been continuously making complain and also in social media. Several people are also asking that the weather condition has been changing from heavy rainfall to normal and hope the weather condition become normal and the TK construction company began with more manpower, tools and plants and complete the visible works which are much needed. He said.
I have made several meeting with the Highway authority including earlier Chief Engineer and executive engineer and present chief engineer and executive engineer and time and again pursuing the matter so that all together join hands for smooth work progress and further completion of the work for the smooth traffic movement. Said DC Potom.
Referring to his earlier commitment of 20 day for completion of stretch form Jully Tinlai to Yupia Tinali that ‘though commitment and timeframe was given but due to continuous rainfall the work could not materialized, even in day time due to heavy traffic movement also the work are not taken up in day and evening until the traffic movement is reduced and minimum’. Said Potom.
I have been asking in social media about the work progress of the road construction work but as per the narration of the official of the agony it is made to understand that they are aloes doing their work at various places as per their work plan and hope in next two months visible development will be seen and since the weather condone may be fine and the work may not stopped. He said.
It is made to know that the beaching machine of the executing agency has god defect and the technical and machine is on way form Gujrat and soon it got repaired and the work began, however till such time I have directed them to work on other areas so that maximum time is being utilized, he also authority engineers of Ministry of Road Transport Highway (MoRTH) to monitor the work progress and quality and report the Highway department in case andy defect find or need up-gradation and change.
Highway Executive Engineer Tadu Takha, AE Debia Takam, officer and official of TK Consortium Pvt Ltd and others were present during ht inspection of the road at Jully TInali.
