ITANAGAR, JUNE 9 : Several leaders of commercial vehicles including Tata mobile, Auto,Tempo, Treaker union today met the Capital SP Jimmy Chiram and discussed various issues related to the parking of commercial vehicles in the capital complex and in and around the National highway.
The leaders of commercial vehicle organization led by All capital complex commercial transport welfare association (ACCCTWA) President Tacho Dayum (Gungli) has place the grievance being faced by the commercial vehicle drivers and owners also the commuters due to non availability of proper parking places and designated parking location all along the national highway right from Chimpu to Banderdewa and in some case the parking places has been encroached upon by other.
There are various categories of commercial vehicles in the Capital Complex are facing lots of problems since the last two/three years due to non availability of parking in various locations. The parking places will also help regulate the commercial vehicles on the street for smooth functioning as proper parking places for various categories of Commercial vehicles are required.
The leaders said that we team members has today requested the SP to intervene the matter and notified for parking place for the various categories of commercial vehicle of the ltanagar Capital Complex like auto, Tempo, Trekker, Truck, Buses, Taxi, Tata Mobile and carriage Tempo etc in different places.
However, Capital SP Jimmy Chiram informed that today we have a good discussion with regard to parking for various types of commercial vehicles in the capital complex and they have been requested to visit several places of the capital complex and come for a meeting for the purpose on Monday next. He said we may check out a plan with Traffic DY SP P Nobin Jomoh and later send it to the Capital Deputy commissioner for approval but the finalization may not be done unless the DC is fully satisfied that all the rules and regulation including the traffic rules are being followed in later and spirit.
