In the month of October 2023, Chimpu Police Station in Itanagar received three reports of stolen mobile phones. The police promptly registered these cases and assigned Lady SI Techi Sumnya, SI SK Jha, and ASI Manish Kumar to investigate, all under the supervision of OC Insp. N. Nishant and SDPO Itanagar Kengo Dirchi.
After careful analysis of CCTV footage and other technical evidence from suspected locations, the police successfully recovered 7 mobile handsets, including 3 Realme phones, 1 Oppo A54A, and 3 other mobile phones. These stolen devices were found in Harmutti and Ganga Basti. Furthermore, all individuals involved in the thefts have been apprehended.
