Capital police urge upon the vehicle owners and drivers to park their vehicles without occupying the road and creating hindrances to others

ITANAGAR, MAY 06: The Capital police has urged vehicle owners and drivers of vehicles  who are parking their vehicles in markets and other places in the capital complex not to park their vehicle without creating any hindrances and traffic chaos on National Highway-415.

 Capital Police has initiated measures to bring traffic discipline & behavior among the people of Itanagar Capital City. In its recent activity the members of traffic management has been trying its best effort to create awareness among the drivers and vehicle owners.

 SP Capital Jimmy Chiram along with SDPO Itanagar Kamdam Sikom, OC Traffic, Police, CRPF and Traffic personnel  initiated Parallel Parking  for two, three and four wheelers from Nirvachan Bhawan to RK Mission Gate No. 2  in an arranged way along the NH-415 in order to reduce traffic congestion in Ganga Area.  During the checking, many vehicles found parked in an inappropriate manner along-side NH-415 causing hindrance to flow of traffic were  towed and removed from the roadside and later penalized as per appropriate sections of law.

SP Capital appeals to the public  to cooperate with the police and adhere with proper parking of vehicles in parallel along the National Highway and to drive in lane and not to cross the middle line during driving which will help to reduce traffic congestion in Itanagar Capital Region.

SP further said that Itanagar is our capital city and it is everyone’s responsibility to keep our city a beautiful place to live and we need to shoulder our responsibility as a responsible citizen so that the people living in various parts of the state and others also learn from us.
