Capital admn declared VKV PTC as micro containment zone after 37+ cases

BANDERDEWA, The PTC VKV Boarding School here has been declared as a micro containment zone after 37 Covid positive cases were detected in the school on Monday.

As per a notification issued by the Capital DMO, the school tested 106 staffers/ students, of which 37 were found to be positive for Covid-19.

As such, the capital DC has declared the PTC VKV Boarding School as a micro containment zone for a period of 14 days.

Meanwhile, as per social media posts the Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, Member of Parliament (Arunachal East) Tapir Gao and secretary Disaster Management Dani Salu have been tested positive.

Deputy CM Mein in a social media post has urged upon the people who have come into contact with him in the recent past to isolate themselves and get tested. However, MP Gao has appealed to the general public to wear face masks and maintain distance with others and remain away from crowded places.
