ITANAGAR, SEPT 19 : The state unit of Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha (BJMM) today organized an eye camp under the motto “’Seva aur Samarpan’ to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendar Modi.
BJP MM state President Higio Aruni informed that the mahila morcha has been carrying out several social activities programmes for the last three day to celebrate the 71st birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in various parts of the capital complex.
A cake cutting ceremony was held which was attended by MLA Hayuliang Dasanglu Pul, MLA Lekang Jummum Ete Deori and former BJMM President Bengia Yayang Tadar and others. Aruni said.
Under the motto ‘Seva aur Samarpan’ and keeping in line with PM Modi’s ‘Healthy Women, Healthy Bharat’, the Mahila Morcha also organised a one day free eye check up camp at Itanagar. The camp saw many women and men participating and getting their eyes checked.
The team along with MLA cum BJP General Secretary, Chow Zingnu Namchoom also visited Mothers Home, a shelter home for women, Lekhi where they distributed essential items along with some cash. Mahila President added.
