ITANAGAR, APRIL 6 : The ruling BJP is strong enough in the state and is only due to the support of the general masses and active cooperation of the party leaders, karyakarta with the grassroots workers and can form the next government again in 2024. Said Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein.
Mein was speaking to the media on the occasion of 42nd sthapana Diwas here at state BJP headquarter. The Dy Chief Minister said that today is the foundation day of the party and congratulated the party cadres and leaders for making the party strong in the state.
The party base started in state with a single legislature Lijum Ronya and now it has increased to 48 and all these are due to dedicated and hardworking party leaders who have dedicated the service for the party to become at present stage. If the trend continues the party will form the next government again in 2024. Dy.CM said.
“I thank all those who have extended support and cooperation to the party in all the welfare activities and also for creating the awareness on several centrally and state sponsored schemes for welfare of people and development of area, state and country” Mein added.
State BJP President Biyuram Wahge in his address said that we are celebrating the sthapana diwas with determination to work for the party and welfare of the people of state with a motto for peace, progress, unity and integrity of all people and development of state and country.
Our first priority should be for the country, then party and later to individuals and appeal to the party karyakartas to move forward with renewed zeal for the development of the nation and man making for all round development. He thanked the leaders and party karyakartas for the growth of the party in the state since 1986. Waghe said.
The celebration is the victory of the party leaders and karyakarta and thanked everyone who has been supporting the party and its strength. Wahge added.
Organizing committee Chairman Tarh Tarak said that several programme has been choked throughout the state and all the morcha has been given assignment to organize programme in various location and district of state, the programme are being held across the state with participation of the party leaders and karyakartas at Mandal level, district level and state level. Tarak said.
Several programmes which include blood donation camp, social service, swachh bharat abhiyan, awareness campaign in various parts of state till April 21st and the party leaders have been directed to take part. Tarak added.
Several former BJP Presidents, lawmakers, party leaders of several morcha and others were present on the occasion.
