June 6, Itanagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) elected MLAs were greeted with a warm reception upon their arrival at the party headquarters in Itanagar. The enthusiastic gathering, comprising top state leaders and party workers, celebrated the resounding victory achieved in the recent elections.
Addressing the media, BJP Vice President Tarh Tarak expressed gratitude towards the people of Arunachal Pradesh for their active participation in the electoral process. “The successful completion of simultaneous elections for the legislative assembly and parliamentary constituencies reflects the trust and support bestowed upon us by the people,” Tarak stated.
Highlighting the BJP’s remarkable performance, Tarak announced that out of the 60 contested seats, the party secured an impressive 60-seat victory, ensuring a clear majority in the state. He further revealed plans for the formation of the government, both at the state and central levels.
During their interaction at the party headquarters, the elected MLAs engaged in discussions with party leaders, reflecting on the challenges and triumphs encountered during the election campaign. The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie and enthusiasm as leaders from various parts of the state shared their experiences.
Anticipation runs high as preparations are underway for the swearing-in ceremony of the new government. Tarak expressed optimism that following the NDA Government’s swearing-in ceremony in New Delhi on June 9, the BJP government’s swearing-in ceremony in the state will swiftly follow suit.
Acknowledging the dedication and hard work of party leaders at all levels, Tarak commended their efforts, which contributed significantly to the BJP’s overwhelming victory in the state assembly and parliamentary constituencies.
Among the prominent elected MLAs who received a warm reception are Techi Kaso, Kardo Nigyor, Ratu Techi, and others, whose contributions were pivotal in securing the BJP’s resounding success.
