ITANAGAR, Jan 25: The Arunachal Olympic Association (AOA) will conduct ‘Sansad Khel Spradha’ 2023 from 15 – 17 February to encourage the sportsperson in the state.
The objective of the event is to promote the sports in the grass root level which will paved a way for the budding youth to excel in the international level, said AOA secretary Bamang Tago, here at APC, while informing that Union minister for Law & Justice would be gracing the event as chief patron.
The event has been categorised Eastern Zone-A, Eastern Zone – B, Western Zone, Central Zone – A, Central Zone- B, where the winner of the respective zone will be participating at the state level Sansad Khel Spradha on 26-27 March at Itanagar.. the Rajiv Gandhi stadium is nearing completion and the association would organise the event. He said.
For the smooth conduct of the competition committee have been constituted where around 3,535 delegates will be participating.
Though organising such a mega event would be challenging one and all the district Olympic association and district sports officers has been ask to coordinate each other in making the even a success one. He said.
Tor organise such a mega event would have the involvement of huge fund so a proposal is being prepared and will send to union minister Law & Justice who is our Members of pearliest for providing financial support and sponsoring the event. Added AOA Secretary Bamang Tago.
