AOA President Taba Tedir flagged off 329 players to play at 2nd NE Olympic games

NIRJULI, NOV 8 : The Arunachal Olympic Association (AOA) President and Minister or education and cultural affairs Taba Tedir has flagged of the team Arunachal of 329 player who left state to attend the 2nd North East Olympic game at Shillong in Meghalaya.

Speaking to media at Inter-state bus terminal (ISBT) here at Lekh the AOA President Tedir said that this is the largest ever contingent of state ever sent to play games and sport at a time, out players will play all the 17 discipline except the swimming. He said.

We are happy to inform that our players are trained and they were given training as per need by the respective coach and as per training they has been selected and those has been approved to play Olympic games at Shillong. He said. 

We have made all arrangement to transport all the players and coaches and official to Shillong who will reach Shillong On Wednesday with fooding arrangement on way. I have already discussion with the Meghalaya organizing committee and they have assured to take care of our players. He said.

 We are hopeful that our players may shin this year and they may upgrade themselves and may reach to 1st three 1, 2 and three place in the region. We are proving all support to the players and team Added Tedir.

We always look forward that our players always maintain discipline and do not do any such things which Weill degrade the name of our state. He wish best of luck to the players and appeal them to play well and bring laural for the state and do not create any problem to face problems. Tedir further said.

I am also leaving for Shillong and will talk to committee there at Megalaya and ensure the full proof arrangement for our players.
