An unidentified dead body found at Denka river, Doimukh police appeal to the general public for Identification

DOIMUKH, The Papum Pare rural police has sought the help of the general public in identification of a dead body found at Denka river in Doimukh on Sunday.

Doimukh Police station Officer Incharge, Inspector Inya Ete inform that on 28/11/2021, written information was received from Taba Tagam, GB Dengka-I, S/o Taba Keh that at 1400 hrs one unidentified dead body of a male (Non-Arunachali) was found at Dengka River by the villagers. On receipt of it, DMK/PS/UD/Case No. 11/2021 U/S 174 CrPC was registered and investigation was launched. Ete said. 

Inquest has been conducted during which no foul play is suspected. The dead body is kept at R.K Mission Hospital Itanagar Morgue for identification. In this regard, a WT message has been sent to the Assam counterpart for identification. OC added.

He further appeals to the general public in identification of the body or else further legal procedure will be conducted and the body will be disposed of as per law.
