NAHARLAGUN, The Alumni of Government Secondary School, G Sector, Naharlagun on Sunday held a meeting and discussed several issues for development of school, up gradation of education scenario and students welfare activities.
The meeting was initiated by the Headmistress Tarh Yaku under the chairmanship of Terge Sora. This was the first meeting of the alumni of the said school for the upgrade of the education scenario on the school. Informed Headmistress Tarh Yaku.
Every member of the committee felt that an association was needed for the welfare of the school by developing a sense of brotherhood among the alumni and guiding the present students with their experience. The meeting unanimously constituted the G-sector Government Secondary school Alumni Association, Naharlagun(one of the first ever events for formation of alumni Association of any Government school in the capital complex). Headmistress said.
Terge Sora has been chosen as the president, Tai Taigh as general secretary, IMC Corporater Tarh Achak as Patron, Tarh Yaku as chief patron with other ten executive
members.
The formation of such organizations will go a long way in supporting the education institution and up gradation of education scenario and education sector of capital, complex, district and state. formation of such a forum/committee will also help the school authority in managing the educational system in school and be able to handle any situation in the best possible way. Yaku added.
