Itanagar, March 11: The capital administration Wednesday issued a traffic regulation advisory in respect of Re-Construction of the old existing steel bailey bridge will be carried out over Konko River, located in between NH-415 to Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy road, Itanagar.
The Itanagar capital Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom IAS in an order issued on Wednesday said that an order for regulation of traffic at steel bailey bridge over Konko River was issued vide this office order of even No. dated 9th March 2021 for Re-construction of the Bridge.
The Executive Engineer, Capital Division- B PWD, AP, Itanagar vide letter no. CDA/Work-3/2021-22/6860-63 dated 03/03/2022 that the work of Re-Construction of the old existing steel bailey bridge will be carried out over Konko River, located in between NH-415 to Sangey Lhaden Sports Academy road for the period of 1 (one) week w.e.f 11th March’ 2022 and requested to issue a revised order for traffic regulation which was necessary for reconstruction the bridge. The DC said.
All types of traffic movement shall be completely closed on the said road is hereby issued till the completion of works and direct the commuters to take diversion road. The DC said in the order.
A banner has to be displayed on both ends of the bridge so that the commuters also know the timing and date while security has been placed during the period. The DC further said.
