Balijan Sep 10: Continuing the effort to conduct Market Survey-cum-Inspection of the entire Papum Pare District (Rural) as per scheduled programme, the team led by EAC-cum-Town Magistrate of Balijan Dr(Mrs) Marchina Boria alongwith Trade and Development Officer Yupia Shri Tai Arun , Inspector Trade & Commerce Yupia, Members of Bazar Welfare Committee, Police Personnel and Office staff carried out market survey cum inspection at Balijan-Hollongi Market from 9th September to 10th September 2021.
All the shops were physically visited and their Trading Licenses were verified. The Traders and Shopkeepers were made aware of the importance of possession of Trading License and its timely renewal.
Also, the Inspection Team had visited three nos. of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) Bonded Warehouses, One Mineral Water Bottling Plant and One Steel and Iron Manufacturing Unit at Hollongi. Both the new and renewal application forms were distributed on the spot at free of cost.
During the inspection, large quantities of illegal IMFL, Beer and Petrol bottles were seized and destroyed at the Balijan ADC Office in front of the Magistrate. The next Market Survey-cum-Inspection will be carried out at Sagalee Market on 24th September 2021.
