AAPLU 10TH foundation day celebrated across the state in a beneficial manner

NIRJULI, DEC 21 : The All Arunachal Pradesh labour union (AAPLU) celebrated its 10th foundation day across the state in a befitting manner. The organisation has rededicated to work for the welfare of the labourer community.

The state level function was held here at its headquarter at Nirjuli where the AAPLU President Dana Tadu unfurl the AAPLU flag and take part in several activities which include discussion on various issues pertaining to the labourer community.  Several zonal presidents and district unit presidents and general secretary attended the discussion.

Speaking to the media, the AAPLU President Danu Tadu said that on this day we formed this organization in the state to take care of the labourers and workers community. Our organization has been working for the welfare of the workers community and also to safeguard their rights and privileges. He said.

It has been seen that the workers from several organized and unorganized sector has been facing lots of problem time and again and there are several organization in the name of labour and workers and are engaged in the said work. AAPLU always stand for the welfare of the labour community and will abide by the labour law and see that the state government is taking care of the all the workers of un organised sector. The AAPLU President said.

There is a need for circuit houses and guest houses in the state capital and soon we are going to submit a memorandum to the state government to immediately solve the problem. We meet the Arunachal Pradesh building and other construction workers welfare board (APB&OCWWB) and raise welfare issue of the labourer/workers community. He said.

With regards to the fixation of the minimum wage of labourers for the unorganized sector we have meeting and discussion with capital deputy commissioner Talo Potom and hope that the wage is implemented in later and spirit so that several complaints of the building owners who have been rising is resolved. The laboure community without any reason fixed the daily wage go as you like would be regulated with the implementation of the minimum wage. He said.

For several years we have been receiving complaints form various section of society about the labourers standing and sitting on roadside in market areas specially in front of Akashdeep in Ganga, G Extension market in Naharlagun and Nirjuli which look unhygienic which is a matter of great concern and to regulate the labours we need stand in the towns of capital complex and we shall continue to raise the issue till permanent labour shed is constructed in various parts of capital complex and state as a whole. The AAPLU President Dana Tadu added.  

He further said that on this occasion we have rededicated to work for the welfare of the workers community and development of state and nation.
