ITANAGAR, JULY 2 : A promising youth and a MBA students of Himalayan university died in tragic road accident on National Highway-415 near neder Namlo in city on Sunday morning. Informed Capital Police sources.
Itanagar SDPO Kamdam Sikom brief the media that a promising youth and MBA students of Himalayan University, Jullang died in a tragic road accident this morning on NH-415 near Neder Namalo in B Sector of city this morning at around 7.30-8 AM. The information of the accident was reported by a police security personnel working in security cell about the road accident on the NH. The police reached the spot and find that the two wheeler rider may have lost his control due to bad weather or otherwise hit the divider. As a result, the motorcycle along with the rider were thrown on the other side of the road which then collided with an approaching scooty. Said SDPO Sikom.
The rides identified as Techi Rika, 21 yrs, S/o Shri Techi Tai, an MBA student of Himalayan University, Jollang, presently residing in a rented house at Ganga village, near ITBP who was going to Naharlagun to appear for Internship examination and met with the accident and lost his life. SDPO said.
The incident occurred on NH-415, The Yamaha FZ bike bearing registration No. AR 01N 4368 belonged to the deceased. Later on receipt of written information from Techi Tongum a case has been registered at Itanagar Police station vide case no- 144/23 u/s 279/304 A IPC has been registered for further investigation. Added Itanagar SDPO Kamdam Sikom.
He further appeal the drivers and vehicle owner to remain alert while driving in hilly roads in bad weather and also wear seat belt in four wheelers and helmet in case of two wheeler.
In a condolence message the teaching fraternity and non teaching staffs of Himalayan university, Jullang has condole the untimely demise of their institution, “Late Techi Rika of Village VILL-SIKHE,NEAR SIKHE PRIMARY SCHOOL,P.O/P.S-YAZALI, DIST.- LOWER SUBANSIRI, was a brilliant students of the Himalayan university”.
“We, teaching fraternity, administrative staff & management department of Himalayan University fall short of words to express our heartfelt griefon the sad demise our beloved student Techi Rika, student of MBA 2nd semester. He was one of the sincerest and discipline students. Our heartfelt condolence to his bereaved family. We pray that the Almighty give his family the strength to bear the irreparable loss. May his soul rest in peace” The message added.
The Himalayan University, Department of Management, HoD Tad Nime Has send a condole message.“We management department fall short of words to express our grief on the sad demise our beloved student Techi Rika, student of MBA 2nd semester. He was one of the most sincere and discipline students. Our heartfelt condolence to his bereaved family. We pray that the almighty give his family the strength to withstand the tragic moment. May his soul rest in peace”, the Himalayan University, Deptt of Management HoD added.
Meanwhile, the United Leil Tara Youth Foundation (ULTYF) has also condole the untimely demise of promising youth in a road accident in Itanagar capital complex.
In a condolence message signed by UTYF President Kholie Topu Tara, general secretary Techi Poll Tara and IPR secretary Niri Sanjay Tara said that “ The ULTYF express the deep condolences on the untimely demise of Techi Rika, son of Techi Tai Tara of Sikke Village, Yazali, Lower Subansiri district who met with an accident at Itanagar and took his last breathe on Sunday morning”. The press release said.
“ He was a charming and sincere young member of Tara Aabh family, who was studying at Himalayan university and pursuing his MBA porgramme. The UKTYF stands with the bereaved family members in the hour of grief and pray for the departed soul to rest in peace” The ULTYF added.
As per information 170 fatal accident which has taken place and reported to the police in the capital complex and accordingly 27 person has lost their life in last three years and dozens were injured critically is a matter of great concern. 2023 in past six month 46 major road accident has been reported to police in which lost 7 person in which most of them are youths whose life are very precious and our future generation.
Inspite of several traffic awareness and traffic checking in the entire capital complex and traffic violators are being made awareness of various traffic rules and regulation. On the others hands due to under construction of road and highway and bad road the accidents also has been increased.
