TALO, Feb 25: Chief Minister Pema Khandu attended the Talo golden jubilee Nyokum celebration here under Lower Subansiri district on Friday. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Khandu urged people to maintain balance between modernity and tradition.
“Every one of us gets busy with our respective lives. It is an occasion like Nyokum where people meet and share joy and happiness. Nyokum also makes people remain attached to their rich culture and tradition,” said CM Khandu. He also said that everyone should strive to improve the happiness index of the state.
On the occasion he announced a new mini secretariat for the Yachuli ADC headquarter. Further he urged people to enjoy Nyokum festival responsibly.
