Sunday market near Zoo inaugurated

ITANAGAR, A daily Sunday market has been inaugurated near the Zoo area of the city to cater to the needs of the city dwellers for marketing of essential items specially fresh vegetables and eatable items especially on Sunday.

Inaugurating the daily Sunday market, youth leader and President of All Arunachal Pradesh motor Transport Federation (AAPMTF) Biri Joy said that such daily market are necessary to cater to the needs of the consumers specially the city dwellers for their daily needs. The daily items rates need to be maintained so that the consumers can visit the market on holiday. Joy said.

He requested the shopkeepers and hawkers to maintain the rate of essential items in comparison to the main markets and supermarkets otherwise the consumers may get confused. Joy added.

BJP ST Morcha President Hinum Tachu in his address said that now a days due to heavy ruch and traffic on main road and national highway the consumers now a days went around the city to get parking space and to market, he requested the business community to make available space for the consumers only so that that they come and take consumer items and back smoothly without wasting precious time. 

Arunachal weekly market welfare committee Arun Kilo, General Secretary Gichik Tama among other local leaders of the area were present on the occasion.
