ITANAGAR, JULY 19 ; Three allege person has been arrested in connection with cheating case of APSSB examination for the post of surveyor/draftsmen held at Dera Natung Government College centre in city in connection with Itanagar police station case No- 313/2021 u/s 417/188 IPC. SP said that a written FIR is lodged by Centre Superintendent, Centre Code: Bl, D.N.Govt. College, Itanagar N. Pramanik, to the effect that a candidate for the post of Takoni Dodum was found using a mobile phone while writing the APSSB examination Room No.25 at D.N.Govt. College Itanagar. On the basis of this FIR a case Vide Ita PS case no.313/2021 u/s 417/188 IPC registered and endorsed SI A.K Jha for investigation. SP said.
During investigation I/O SI A.K Jha visited the PO located at DN College Itanagar, examined the complainant and available witnesses and recorded their statement u/s 161 Cr.PC. As per statements of Complainant and witnesses one Samsung mobile phone model s-10 plus sky blue colour, bearing IMEI No.355332100344900 & 355333100344908 and Sim No.9362557486/8974636523 has been seized from the possession of alleged accused candidate in the presence of magistrate and witnesses. He said.
The investigation officer examined the and it was found that the candidate bearing roll no.2000546 was using a mobile phone and in whatsapp someone was sending her the answers which she was already using in answer paper. He said.
Three allege accuse has been arrested which include Takoni Dodum Age- 28 Yrs is a permanent resident of East Kameng (A.P) and presently residing at Barapani Naharlagun, Sunny Dodum age- 38 Yrs a permanent resident of East Kameng (A.P) and presently residing at F&G Sector Neyaz Ahmed Age-31 Yrs a permanent resident of Bongaigaon district of Assam and presently residing at G Extension Naharlagun have been arrested and interrogated. And they accepted that they were involved in this case. SP said.
During investigation 3 (three) mobile handset have been seized from the possession of arrested accused which include one mobile handset (Samsung S-10 plus) colour sky blue along with sim no. 9362557486/8974636523 seized on being produced by the complainant. The said mobile handset seized by complainant from the possession of alleged accused candidate, mobile handset OPPO- A5, SIM no. 7005283452/7641013718 seized from the possession of arrested accused Sunny Dodum and mobile handset VIVO, Sim no. 8837242250 seized from the possession of arrested accused Neyaz Ahmed. one rough note book used during the solving questions by Neyaz Ahmed and Sunny Dodum has also been seized. Seized Jammer 28 (twenty eight) nos from APSSB office Itanagar, one pendrive containing video recording of camera no. 22 and room no. 25. SP said.
During Further Investigation the arrested alleged accused admitted that they were using unfair means and using their different mobile phones Sim No.9362557486/8974636523 /7005283452 /7641013718/ 8837242250 used by candidate and other arrested accused persons, The alleged accused candidate also admits that she forwarded the question to one alleged accused Sunny Dodum @ Rungo Lorah who is her cousin brother and due to his help she solved 30 to 40 questions through her cousin brother through whatsapp. Further investigation of other alleged accused namely Sunny Dodum was interrogated. During interrogation he accepted that he received the questions from the alleged accused candidate and he solved questions with his friend Neyaz Ahemed and re-sent to the candidate through whatsapp and he deleted whatsapp after the arrest of the candidate by Police. During interrogation arrested alleged accused Neyaz Ahmed admitted that he had solved the questions in his friend’s room at F & Sector Itanagar on 18/07/2021 as requested by his friend. Further investigation CDR has been sent to SIT PHQ Itanagar CDR records and Analysis and the pending for examination of some witnesses and recording of their statements. SP added.
All the alleged accused persons were released on bail as the section of offence is bailable. During a detailed investigation of the accused persons that they did not forward or send questions and answers to any other persons. After analysis of CDR’s and other related documents the case will be charge sheeted under section 120(b)/417/188/511 IPC. SP further said.
We will also examine that there is any connection or role of any staff and security personnel so that further action is also taken up if any. SP further assured.
It is mentioned that the examination for the post of Junior estimator/draughtsman (Grade-III) -22 post for which 981 candidates appeared was held on July 17 while for the post of surveyor there were 7 posts of which 1166 candidates appeared which were held on July 18.
