ITANAGAR, MARCH 31 : One small girl child aged around 7 years of Class-I died while more than 40 school students of a boarding school in Kra Daadi district got sick on Monday. Three people have been arrested after a case has been registered at Palin.
Kra Daadi SP Dusu Kaling briefing the media informed that very unfortunate incident information has been received on Wednesday late evening through social media at around 9.30 PM. No information was even shared to the nearest police station at Palin about the incident which took place on Monday March 28 2022. A young girl child of a missionary boarding school in Yangte circle of the district lost her life today on her way to the state capital for treatment when her health condition was deteriorating in the incident.
A girl child studying in Christ care school Yangte circle died on the way to Itanagar after falling sick. It has been further reported that altogether 40+ school children of the same school had fallen sick after eating dinner on Monday. He said.
Based on the information received on social media, an enquiry was done on Wednesday and it has been learnt that the incident of 40+ school children of the school falling sick was reported on Monday and were getting medical attention and treatment at Yangte Medical unit and that the deceased was referred to Itanagar for further treatment. He said.
The deceased was a 6-7 years old girl of class-I. Based on the facts gathered, a police team has been sent to Christ care school for further necessary legal actions and investigation. Based on a com-plaint a case has been registered in this instant case vide Palin Police station vide case no-15/22 u/s-304,337, 328, 273, IPC and three persons including the school principal have been arrested. Further investigation is on and other legal formalities are also being done. SP said.
It may be a suspected case of food poisoning but it would only be cleared after the investigation which is underway. SP added.
The other school students of the said school are stated to be medicated and maintaining good health condition and . He said.
Further SP condoled the death of a young girl in the incident and prayed for eternal peace of departed souls in heavenly abode.
