Taru Gusar and Mihin Gambo inducted to IPS cadre

ITANAGAR, NOV 28 : Two dedicated and sincere police officer of Arunachal Pradesh Police Mihin Gambo & Taru Gusar has been inducted into Indian police service (IPS) and order to the effect has been issued by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Government of India. New Delhi.

The order- F No-I-14011/14/2021-IPS-I(E)(I) dated 25/11/2022 said that the union public service commission (UPSC), on 23/11/2022, has approved the select list of the year 2018 prepared by the selection committee in the meeting held on 29/03/2022, containing the name of two police officers of Arunachal Pradesh police service of Arunachal Pradesh toward filling up of 2 substantive vacancies in the joint AGMUT cadre(Arunachal segment) of Indian police service. The notification added.

It is to mention that Mihin Gambo, an APPS (2008 batch) who passed his matriculation from Government Higher secondary school Hija and senior secondary from Dani Kunia Government Higher secondary school, Ziro in Lower Subansiri district. He did his BSc in Botany from Jawahar lal Nehru college (JNC) Pasighat in East Siang district while MSc (Botany) from Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Doimukh.

He received gold medal during his MSc in RGU for his excellence in academic performances. He is also recipient of several other award during his tenure as a police officer which include state silver medal, anthrik suraksha seva padak, DGP commendation Disc, governor commendation Card, and state gold medal in 2022.

At present Gambo is posted as Superintendent of police and posted in Changlang district.   

Taru Gusar, son of Tabe Gusar of village Gusar, Upper Subansiri district who did his matriculation and higher secondary from Government Higher secondary school, Daporijo. He did his graduation from St. Edmond college, Shillong, Meghalaya and post-graduate in Geography from North East hill university (NEHU) as per information he was a gold medalist during his post graduation course tenure. 

He is also recipient of several medals and trophy being a dedicated, sincere and hardwiring police officer for his better service to the people and state. 

Presently Gusar is serving as Superintendent of Police and posted at newly curved Kamle district.
