Tana Hali demanded a public apology by BRO for the incident

The 14th Doimukh Assembly constituency local MLA Tana Hali Tara has allege that all the programme which was organized by the BRO on June 17 at Regional Training Centre (RTC) Kimin in Papum Pare district was not properly briefed to him being the local MLA of the area. What has happened at Kimin is condemnable and sought public apology by the BRO.

Tana Hali demanded a public apology by BRO for the incident

Hali inform the press that Kimin is well within in Papum Pare district and will always remain in Papum Pare district, Arunachal Pradesh and India  and no one will be allow to give new name or try to deface the name and change and we will not allow to do so and no one will except it if someone try to deface. Hali said.

 “I tried to raise the issue during the inauguration with the officials but no one was able to answer and now this issue is a matter of great concern”. Hali said

The Border Roads Organization (BRO) officials are to be held responsible for showing Kimin ADC headquarters in Papum Pare district as ‘Bilgarh’ in Assam and covering up Arunachal’s name with a white paste during Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s inauguration of the Kimin-Potin road and others and the BRO should apology to the people of Arunachal Pradesh for the same. Hali said.

The BRO cannot try to divert the attention and create misunderstanding and confusion between the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and the act is highly condemnable. Hali added.

I attended the function as I being the local MLA and greeted the Minister of Defence Rajnath Singh, Chief Minister of both Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and MOS (Sport & YA) Kiren Rijiju and other officers being the host, as per protocol of state I was not even given due recognition and attention during the visit but it was my responsibility being the host to greet the guest and I did it and happy to greet. Said Hali adding that what the BRO has done is highly condemnable and sought immediate public apology.
