YAZALI, Jun 27: The education minister Taba Tedir on Sunday flagged off two basic life support ambulances under 108 service here. The ambulances will be placed at CHC Yazali and PHC Deed and will cater to the needs of the people of 16 Yachuli constituencies.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister Tedir who is also a local MLA said that the health sector is witnessing major revolution in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu. “Starting of 108 ambulance service is another major step towards improving the health sector of the state. The ambulances will be fitted with modern facilities and will be operated by trained health care workers. I appeal to people to make best use of this facility,” said Tedir. He also informed that ministers and MLAs are going to their respective constituencies to flagg off the ambulance service in order to create awareness about 108 services.
Tedir appealed to the people to come forward and get vaccinated. “ Do not listen to the rumours. Scientists and doctors across the world have made it clear that Covid 19 vaccines are safe and it helps to fight the battle against infection,” said the education minister. He thanked all the health workers for improving vaccination coverage in the Yachuli constituency.
The minister of education asked people to continue to remain alert and keep themselves safe from Covid 19. “In the second wave Arunachal too has been hit hard. Death rate has risen. Scientists are warning of a 3rd wave and therefore everyone should continue to follow covid appropriate behavior,” he added.
On the occasion Likha Sangchoree, ZPC, Toko Babu ADC Yachuli, Dr Tage Kano, DMO along with Panchayat leaders and health officials were present.
