ITANAGAR, A school going girl child of aged around 14 year of Class VIII commit suicide at her resident on Saturday in city. Informed Itanagar Police station officer Incharge, Inspector Phasang Simi.
Inspector Simi informed that on Saturday afternoon at around 5.30 PM a telephonic information received from PCR 2 that one girl committed suicide near Blue Pine Hotel Ganga Market. The deceased was brought to RKM Hospital where the doctor declared dead. He said.
The day emergency duty officer (DEDO) SI SK Singh and team left for Hospital where later SDPO Itanagar Kamdam Sikom also arrived and supervised the case. The whole matter was intimated to magistrate Itanagar for information. He said.
The preliminary inquest over the dead body was done while the inquest will be done tomorrow in presences of the magistrate, lady police and deceased family. The dead body was kept at RKM Hospital morgue for conducting PM examination today at TRIMHS Naharlagun. He said.
The Mother and relatives of the deceased who are staying at Namsai who also attended the PM examinations. Place of Occurrence (PO) was visited and thoroughly examined the witnesses present and seized the necessary items present at the scenes of crime like scuff, mura, knife etc. The CC footage of the house was obtained. He said.
A written FIR were received from Chungee Kiyali w/o Sonam Kiyali of Darjeeling Hotel Ganga and Registered a Case Vide Ita PS UD case no 25/2021 u/s 174 CRPC and endorsed the case to SI SK Singh for further investigation.
After conducting the last PM the body was handed over to the parents for conducting the last rite. OC Inspr. Simi added.
