Rebia, Tuki appealed to the upcoming generation to shoulder greater responsibility for welfare of people and development of the area

DOIMUKH, The Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Nabam Rebia and former Chief Minister Nabam Tuki has appealed the upcoming generation has a greater role to play and work for welfare of the people and development of the area.

MP Rebia was addressing the inaugural session of IVth general conference of Nabam welfare society at Doimukh. We have a lot to work for the betterment of community, area, district and state and it would only be possible if the upcoming generation plays a major role. He said. 

“ nothing on this earth is impossible and everything is possible if one start with shouldering his responsibility for the betterment of family, community, society with determination, dedication and sincerity” Rebia said

Education is the most important tool in the modern world and everyone should get the education and try to become a good professional and become a fine gentleman to serve the society. Rebia added.

Rebia further appealed to all the youths of the state to join hands together for a better Arunachal Pradesh in the field of development. 

Former Chief Minister and Sagalee MLA in his address said that the social works and the normal works which are being done by a person should be for the purpose, whatever we are doing should serve a purpose and we should have to take up such social issue of the society which need to be resolve either economically or otherwise we all should support them in such way for upliftment. He said.

He requested the NWS youths wings to rededicate themselves and committed toward the welfare of the community and society and work for peace, progress and development in all sectors of life. Tuki added.

NWS Chairman Laya Nabam said that due to Covid 19 pandemic the NWS and Nabam Youth association (NYA) could not be held and the IVth general conference will discuss various social and economical issues of the organisation and society. he said.

He thanks the state government led by Chief Minister Pema Khandu for giving due recognition to Late Nabam Runghi and renaming of Inter-state bus terminal as Nabam Rungki inter state bus terminal and urge upon the state government to put the nomenclature and details of Late Rungki near the NRISBT, Lekhi. He further informs us that we want a statue of Late Nabam Runghi be installed at a prominent place in the capital as due to him and his hard work we are here in Itanagar the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh.

APPSC Chairman Nabam Nipo, former APPSC Chairman Nabam Atum, community leader Nabam Ayung, Chukhu Joymoti Nabam, NYA President Nabam Tuna, General  Secretary Nabam Dodum among others also address the inaugural session of the NWS. 

Twenty six achievers of the Nabam community in various professions were felicitated on the occasion.
