Education commissioner and Capital DC visited and inspected HSS

ITANAGAR, MARCH 4 : The Commissioner Education Padmini Singla and Capital Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom alongwith other senior officer of education department today visited and inspected the Government Higher Secondary School here at ESS Sector today and interacted the teaching faulty and other staffs of the school.

They team inspected the library, laboratory, classes, administrative block, toilets, morning assembly shed. The team also interacted with teaching faculty and others staffs on water supply system, toilets status, library, laboratory and other facility being given to the school students of the school.

Commissioner directed the school authority including the Principal and Vice Principal to update the status of the facility and syllabus update for the CBSE students of Class X & XII. She also directed the them to impart and guide the students with three sets of sample papers to the CBSE appearing students so that they did not face lots of problem in appearing the examination as there is sufficient time remaining and the students can cover their book themselves and also revise their syllabus before appearing the examination. 

Capital DC Talo Potom inform that it is a happy moment that the Commissioner Education Padmini Singla who was the 1st Capital DC and wanted to visit the school and today she came with the officers of the education department to get the update one of the old school of the capital city which is located just adjacent to the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Secretariat. She also wanted to extend support to make the school a beautiful and the students also get the benefit of the best teaching faculty and facility.

Potom said a good trend has began in state by the alumni  of several school to give back to their previous school and college where they have been educated to give back to the school and serve the society. He appeal the former students of Govt. HSS Itanagar to come and join in making the school one of the best and model school of state capital.

He further said that the untied fund of Rs. 25. Which he have are being used in such educational institution and as such the painting of the school is being done with the facility of water supply system is being improved. He also assured to extend all possible support of the capital district administration and state government. 

Director school Education Marken Kadu, Capital DDSE ST Zara and other officers from education department and central library accompanied the team.
